Fleenor Guitars

My brother has been making guitars for about a year now. Along the way he has been making jigs, molds, and patterns so that he can produce custom guitars for a living. I was with him in the shop the other day while he was testing out the most recent build, a bending jig (it is how you bend the shape of a guitar).

This is a cool shot of a work bench with some of my brother's work on it.

Last week my mom came to me and said "Your dad said you can have any of his old cameras."  I was confused by this statement because I thought I had his camera ( an Olympus OM-1). We then went to the attic and found a large Rubbermaid box with 15 old cameras. I took a some pictures of a few.

In this Picture there are three ARGUS cameras, three BROWNIE, and a ZEISS IKON (bellows camera).

Four of the cameras had film in them. I have been looking for a place to send it off to. If I get anything good back I will post some of what I find.

Through the Lens 11.2

My birthday is November 5th, and I got a great back drop setup. I thought I would try it out with a holiday theme and my son.

Ah, Wilderness!

Emily and I had the privilege of attending the final dress rehearsal of Ah, Wilderness! at H.A.R.T our community theater. We enjoyed seeing some of our small group family and some others from our church who are part of the production. A really cool part about the final dress rehearsal is they allow pictures to be taken! I was able to snag a few shots of Chase Wells. Enjoy!

Fleenor Photography is official

Fleenor Photography is an official business! I have registered with Haywood County, I have a State Sales Tax ID, a Federal Tax ID (EIN) and I am waiting on my State Privilege Licence for Photography to get in from Raleigh.  I also have set up a business account at Wells Fargo (it is free by the way.)
If anyone is interested in starting a a business check out http://www.blnc.gov/ if you can not find what you are looking for on the website give their number a call. I was very impressed with the people I talked to. They were knowledgeable and extremely encouraging.
To open a business account at Wells Fargo you will need to have filled out a Assumed Name From. It is available at the Register of Deeds ( Haywood County it is located in the old court House) It is $27.00 to register. The only other expense was the Privilege License tax $50.00.

Poster Design

I enjoy graphic design and recently have been able to do some cool things for a local band GoodNight, Irony. This is the latest poster and is for their spring show.

This is not the final product just this first mock up. We hope to add another band and some sponsors.
