Through the lens 10.3

Over the weekend we went on a hike to Little Cataloochee, a very small settling in the 1800's that is now a part of the Smokey Mountains National Park. The fall colors where alive, dancing across a bright blue sky.

We met some horses along the way. It made me want to own one.

Through the lens 10.2

Drive-by photography. My family has enjoyed road trips ever since I was a child. I have always taken pictures from the car while we were on the road and I really love the way they turn out. As an adult I don't ride much because I love to drive but every now and then I will hop in the passenger side armed with my camera and snap away at the world that is blurring by. This is what I saw today from the car.

Imported Pumpkin Patch

In our town the local First Methodist Church fills their front yard with hundreds of pumpkins. It makes it a great place to get fall pictures. The boy was in a face making mood and I had to share his wonderful talent.
