Lots of snow...

We Made it out to my wife's grandparents for lunch on Tuesday.

 Anna Marie Fleenor

We are excited to bring you Anna Marie Fleenor the newest member of our family. She came into this world January 24 2014 at 5:55pm - 7lb 4oz - 20.5 inches long. I made a post of that day here.  The following shots where taken the week following her birth.

After firing off a few shots Anna's big brother Andrew (who turned 3 on Jan 27th) decided he was going to share the camera time.

In no way would he have done this on his own...

We had to wait for Andrew to take his nap to resume the baby pictures and by then Anna was well into a milk coma.

My wife knitted Anna's blanket hat and booties. As you can see she is very talented.

Our sweet Anna! If you or someone you know are interested in maternity/baby photography check out our freshly updated web site www.fleenorphotography.com

Fun In The Snow
We where excited to get out of the house and play in the snow.

We only spent about 15 minuets outside but it was well worth the fierce cold.

Got a few shots of my dog enjoying the snow as well.

A Morning In Asheville

A morning in
Asheville with Eric G

We started out from the parking garage around 09:15 - ( A useful tip I picked up along the way is to open Google maps and drop a pin on your cars location so you can always find your way back ) - It was quiet with the exception of several large groups of people walking around. It was kind of odd.

Eric is taking a Photography class (last semester at WCU). He is using my old Olympus shooting B&W film. They are going to develop it over the next week! Hopefully I can post some of his work in this space another week.

Restoration work on one of the buildings

I have seen this bridge but never been on it. It leads to a little park. We think it would be nice in the summer, but it was a little underwhelming this time around.

All of the Public Sector buildings where closed for MLK day.

It was interesting how these buildings came together.

Evidence of something that once was.

We only had time to cover 4 or 5 blocks and are making planes for a return trip!

Baby B

We have started doing Watch-Me-Grow shoots with newborns (see our website for more details), taking a few shots of them every month during the baby's first year, with extra long shoots with their families at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months.  Having our own son, we knew we would be creating something parents would treasure, but we had no idea how much fun it would be to see these kids every month!

This week we got to do Baby B's five month micro-shoot and what a cool kid!

This little guy has us all the more excited about our big event this week: Baby #2 is due on Thursday!  Perhaps our next baby shoot will be of our own sweet girl.
